Haha, some may say that it was pre-planned

Surely we're the most tattooed team in the league now.

Ideally I think this might now be his first team back 4, but will Carra still be so accommodating when Johnson is fit again?
Carra at LB, Johnson on the right. Agger & Soto in the middle. Our best defensive line-up within our current squad, except perhaps with Aurelio fit in which case it would be Aurelio-Agger-Soto-Johnson, IMO.

He's got a long way to go before he's covered like Beckham. I've got to say, Beckham's arms look ****ing awesome these days

Carragher felt neither deserved to leave with all three points.
'I don't think anyone deserved to win to be honest,' Carragher told Sky Sports 1. 'I don't think there was too many chances. It's always a difficult game here at Bolton.
'Kevin Davies had a header late on, and that could have been it for them, and our chance has gone in.
'It was a really tight game but that's the Premiership for you.'

I'm not a fan of Konchesky at all, but I'd still have him ahead of Carra and Aurelio ahead of them both.

Hodgson isn't gonna pick Agger either (unless LB) if everyone esle is fit.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hmm, I think Konchesky is **** too. I'd rather have Aurelio, Riise, Insua and probably Carragher at left back instead.

Funny how a few years back Carragher supposedly didn't have the legs to play RB against Middlesborough, yet he's now played there for how many games running now? Three? Four?

Because Agger's the only defender we possess who can play the ball out of defence. We don't have that from any of the players lined up today.

so you would rather have a defender who has some football skills over a defender thats keeps strong at the back and gives us a chance to win ?

I think we all know where the folly of that tactic ends
To be fair Hodgson's tactics today would have looked better had Torres scored that run through on goal and/or set Gerrard up with that piss easy pass that he managed to sulk into a shocker. Yes that flick he did was a jizzy pleasure, but he could have made Roy's tactics look better with a 2-0 or even 3-0 comfortable win.

You say tomato, I'm saying potato.

Lol. Do I need to list all the attributes that Agger possesses better than Skrtel?

Aerial strength, reading the game, composure...

In my earlier post I listed Agger & Skrtel as a pairing, along with Soto & Skrtel. I was making the point that we had options but ultimately we need to be looking ahead with Agger in the side, he's by far our most complete CB and would grace most teams in the premiership. Sadly I agree that he'll be off in January unless he starts getting the treatment he deserves
