Was that the one in January? I think he scored and hit the post that day didn't he?!

When Johnson comes back you would expect Soto would be dropped, but to be fair him and Skrtel have been good and he offers a threat from corners we haven't had in a long time. I think it should be Carra to be fair, but he seems to have some kind of untouchability to him. Gerrard, Torres and Reina are the same but they earn it. Carra's been poor so far this season.

Yup, Carragher will never be dropped, even though he has been pretty poor for a while now.

I also think Agger will go in January

skrtel plays well again when he's not partnered with carragher, could be the language barrier -'hoof!'

                    Halfway down the page.

"We've not been playing that badly, in fact we haven't really played badly in more than two or three games this season, and have had some famous games in the Europa Cup to boost us along the way."

I think Roy might actually prefer this back 4. He seems to like Srktel, was saying he can't drop Kyrgiakos at the minute and was Johnson not one of the overpaid players he was referring to in his interview? Ideally I think this might now be his first team back 4, but will Carra still be so accommodating when Johnson is fit again?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I seriously believe he thinks he can con his face onto a banner

Anyone else think Carra is a very ordinary right back?
I think Soto's making himself hard to drop, regardless of who's around. Long may it continue as you need 4 centre backs vying for 2 places in the side. Soto & Agger, Soto & Skrtel, Carra & Agger and Skrtel and Agger are all decent pairings.

Famous games in the Europa Cup?!

Only two or three games where we've played badly?!

If he was managing another club we'd be ripping it out of him. My biggets gripe today was when Gray mentioned about "Rafa's Liverpool only winning four or five away games in the League last year"... when before today Hodgson hadn't won away since 1376.

Good result, tough place to go. Certainly not getting ahead of myself but with the League being so tight this year, if we can kick on then a challenge for a top four finish shouldn't be out of reach. (Can't believe it's come to this)

Great goal from Maxi, and he's got a cracking tattoo too
Did you see him feigning a calf injury just so that he could roll his sock down and show it off
