I don't mind watching the odd game of League or Union if its the Sea Eagles or the Waratahs but I just know too many idiots who play the sport for me to ever like it... Full of absolute idiots. The amount of times League and Union players have got done for assualt/cheating on wifes/drugs/any other bull**** is horrible. (Sounds a lot like some of the EPL teams!)96 Never Forgotten

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Not for me to tell you how to feel about what your kids are doing, of course,Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostIMO it merely mirrors the behaviour of the idiots on the pitch which is why whilst I love my footie I'm quite pleased that my kids are getting more involved in rugby.
...but personally I'd be concerned that my kids were gonna get their heads kicked in on the rugby pitch by big posh pissheads who love a good ruck, what!
Either that or get their heads stamped on or have their eyes gouged out.
I cannot stand sanctimonious rugby knobheads lecturing me about football's problems with fighting (off-field) and disrespect (on it). Cos swearing at the ref or whatever is much worse than some 18 stone meathead aiming punches at your head, gouging your eyes out and stamping on your neck.
No offence of course.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Very different over here in Blighty mate. Rugby and to some extent Cricket are upper-class, private school sports. Very strange.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostI don't mind watching the odd game of League or Union if its the Sea Eagles or the Waratahs but I just know too many idiots who play the sport for me to ever like it... Never thought of it quite like that.Originally posted by banditos View Post1 bloke pushing 2 bloke's heads up 3 bloke's arses. Terrible sport.
What I like is being able to sit through a game getting pissed without getting hassled by stewards or opposing fans.
I can't even remember a time when you could take a drink back to your seat / terrace at a football match of any note.

Ironic isn't it?
We live close to Twickenham and apparently the posh cunts who live there wouldn't fathom having a football stadium around.
Are we winning?

None taken; like I said I love my footie I just hate most of the people who play it.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNot for me to tell you how to feel about what your kids are doing, of course,

I wouldn't lecture any one about football's problems but I've never been chased by thugs after watching rugby.
