The thing is, Agger has been here ages yet it just doesn't seem to work, enough of the time. We know Skrtel and Agger is not a great partnership, it never was and never will be. I think its safe to say Sakho has been signed to play and with him being left footed I think the manager wants to ideally pair him with a right footer. So Lovren (if signs) and Skrtel will be paired with Sakho going forwards, probably on a form get the shirt basis. If Agger doesn't want to be part of a squad and at his age that's fair enough, then I don't see any other choice but to sell.Originally posted by The_weatherman View Post
I'd rather keep Agger then buy Lovren for big sums, and being realistic, he was transfered for 8 million last summer and Southampton will not sell for under 15 million IMO. Caulkner I'd be OK with for about 8-10 million but I think we could get better players in.

But we seem to be unable to defend without him in the side. Skrtel and Sakho has been tried but doesn't work, we need at least one composed defender along Skrtel/Sakho and I'm not sure Lovren is what we need. If he signs OK but I hope it won't be for huge sums - We have to get this window right.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThe thing is, Agger has been here ages yet it just doesn't seem to work, enough of the time.
