Does it really apply though if the club accept an offer for him? They are the ones then who are letting him go, so really he does not have to feel bad in that case. IMO.Originally posted by Bender View Postno i agree it's just that's what agger said when Torres left .........."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

So do IOriginally posted by Lee View Post
All well and good but loyalty works both ways. If we accept a bid from City and they offer him £100k per week then we can't really expect him to snub them.
Just hope he stays.
But I think this will all hinge on our valuation and if City are willing to meet it
I just hope that valuation is closer to 30m than 20m

If they are they can **** off and buy Arsenal.Originally posted by Bender View Postthen if that's the case it ties in with alot of rumours that fsg are following the arsenal route selling top players to turn in profits"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." 16m is a piss take. If everton can hold out for 25m for Lescot should be minimum requirement.
My worry is if they will jsut keep coming back till we accept. I really think this might happen.

Doubt it, they couldnt get Hazard and are struggling with Van Persie, they seem to want to reign it in a bit, Mancini already moaning. Besides, the only decent source (the times) has said Ayre told Marwood he isnt for sale.Originally posted by red g View Post16m is a piss take.
