I'm not so sure what would work best at the minute - the standard of the PL is pretty low comparative to the long term trend but the Spanish league and the championship are both very different. I'd happily let him gain games anywhere if he was more or less guaranteed a first team place.

TBH I would rather him go to Championship team if he cannot play in PL. It would serve him and us better. He'd be able to adopt more quickly to the physical aspect of playing English type of football and no reason to worry if he would get homesick.

Totally agree. Cannot see any sense in him going back to Spain unless we wanted to put him in the shop window, which hopefully we don't . I doubt he'd get enough game time at any of the Prem sides so it's the Championship or he stays IMO.

I hope Bolton are in for him. They were looking to take Wilshere back but Arsene refused and they are also likely to lose Elmander in January. Would be a good move for all parties involved if you ask me.
