Hopefully he will get alot of game time at Atletico and will develop and return to us a player ready for first team football.
However I can't help but think a return to Spain on a temporary basis may pave the way for a more long term return to Spain. I wouldn't be surprised if he were sold next summer...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

I think the lack of premiership clubs coming in for him was the nail in his coffin.
Once he is over there cant see him coming back, Specially when we have 1billions worth of talent in Suso and Sterling.
Best hope is he shines over there and gets us a juicy transfer fee, next year._____________________________________

The bike with the massive knockers from Sky Sports News said Athletico with no mention of Rayo. In fact th only person who has mentioned going to Rayo was, erm, PachecoA lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.Comment
