So we loaned him to Atletico and they decided to pass the buck and sent him on a loan as well..
Only makes sense if there is already a buyout option on the table for Atletico to acquire him permanently at the end of next season.

Its just a sponsorship deal. they have boards round the side of the pitch they dont own.
