Nah wasn't me. My mate had her back at his, in his bedroom and he knocked her back. Unbelievable, Jeff. He's regretted it ever since but about 6 months ago he got a phone call from her asking her to come and meet her in her room at the Marriott in Gateshead... And he knocked her back again.

    Unreal, absolutely un.****ing.real.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

This is the one I'm talking about (that my mate stupidly spurned the advances of at least twice)

I'm not sure but he either has OCD tendencies or an addictive personality. He's in to all that spiritualism and alternative therapy bollocks with huge swathes of self help and the first time round was reading about inner peace through abstinence, which is still a ****ing stupid excuse.

It's a better, funnier story but unfortunately doesn't translate well to the written form. But the long and short is she was there, undressed and he said 'I can't' much to his parents disappointment (they were downstairs at the time praying that they'd get to see the living room light swing a little). He still gets **** about it from his dad to this day.

Rafa Benitez's departure at Liverpool marked the end of my progress - Dani Pacheco

Rayo Vallecano attacker Dani Pacheco, who joined the club on a one-year loan deal from Atletico Madrid this summer after the Vicente Calderon side had originally borrowed him from Liverpool, has told Goal.com that his progress halted when manager Rafa Benitez left the Anfield side in June 2010.

The 20-year-old left Barcelona for Liverpool in the summer of 2007, but never really managed to secure regular first-team action at the English Premier League side.

He spent the final months of the 2011-12 campaign on loan at Norwich City and is now looking to re-launch his career in his native country.

"It is true that my situation really changed with the departure of Benitez and my progress halted a bit then. I needed to feel at home in order to prove my worth," Pacheco said.

"I don't want to say that I was tired of English football and that I won't ever return there, because it's really competitive and it's a great league. However, I felt that my time at Liverpool was up."

Pachecho then went on to say that he doesn't regret his decision to move to the Premier League, as he learned a lot in his time at Anflield, but added that he needed a new challenge to continue his development as a player.

"I have a learned a lot at Liverpool. To be moving to such a big club with a world renowned coach and a lot of famous players at the tender age of 16 gave me a lot and I have really grown as a player and a person.

"I am now looking to put into practice what I've learned in the past few years. I had no more opportunities at Liverpool to do that. I needed a change of scenery in order to continue developing."

Pacheco has a contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2014 and, although Atletico Madrid have an option to buy the attacker for a set fee at the end of the season, sporting director Damien Comolli still thinks that the attacker has a role to play at the club as they're closely monitoring his progress in La Liga.

"Dani has gone on loan because we want to see him play in the first team somewhere. It would have been difficult for him to play in our first team, and rather than play in the reserves this is a good opportunity for him to go on loan to a good team in a top league," Comolli said earlier this week.

"I call it a development loan. Put the player on loan, see how he develops and then that will give us a very strong indication of where his career is going."

Lets get this straight, Pacheco's development didnt stop because Rafa left. it stopped because he isnt going to be good enough for us. Im afraid he is turning out to be another Neil Mellor.

One of those players you brought in was Dani Pacheco on loan from Liverpool. How is he progressing?

The Spanish rate players on the present rather than the past. He’s come from Liverpool, but didn’t really play for Liverpool. We're looking to get the best out of Dani Pacheco: up until now he’s had injuries so hasn’t been able to get going.

But it’s important that a player knows where he is. He’s at Rayo now, he has to work like a Rayo player. If not, then you won’t play. So we're working a lot with him on a psychological level and getting over to him what the spirit of Rayo Vallecano is, as he needs to identify himself with the badge. Even if you have a lot of quality, if you don’t play the way I want then you aren’t going to be included.
I find that last line interesting. Is he not putting in the effort at Rayo?

Has anyone seen Pacheco play this season?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wonder if/how he'll feature in Rodgers' plans?

Having been at Barca perhaps he's well seasoned in the tika-taka style
