Why the hilarity?? Steven Gerrard had his wisdom teeth taken out by a Paris dentist to cure hamstring and groin problems when he was younger, on the behest of Gerard Houllier.Originally posted by Arn View PostI have a friend that had a hamstring problem for years. He then had one of his teeth removed and the problem disappeared.
Only shows that problems like that is a very difficult thing to find out what is really causing the problem.Last edited by cled the red; 27-11-10, 02:21 PM.

Daniel Pacheco has a future with Liverpool
Pacheco hasn't featured for the first team since the Carling Cup defeat to Northampton and rumours have begun suggesting Roy Hodgson would be looking to offload the Spaniard in January. However, the boss has dismissed the speculation.
"He's been doing quite well. He had a little down period which I suppose coincided with the unfortunate Northampton game, when every one of the young players was thrown in together," said Hodgson.
"He stuck at his task and in training he's been doing very well. In the last couple of reserve games he's played very well too. It's nice to know he's still very much a part of the Liverpool future.
"He's unlucky in the position he plays, just behind the striker or in a wide role. That's probably where we have most competition at the club right now. For a young player it's not easy to knock the likes of Joe Cole, Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez off their perch.
"Having said that, we still believe in him. We think he's a good player and he's got a very bright future.
"Of course there'll be lots of other clubs out there who want to take him but if he really wants to be at the top level he might be well advised to keep learning his trade with these sorts of people around him, rather than to become a bigger fish at a smaller club.
"I'm sure he'll be in the squad for the Europa League next week. I can't guarantee he will start but that's certainly not beyond the bounds of possibility because he has done well enough recently to force his way back to our attention."Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

But 2 out of the 3 of them (Kuyt and Cole) have been injured for most of the season and he's been playing people out of position in their placesOriginally posted by Vermilion View PostThat's a nice turn of phrase Roy...where did you get that..
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Having teeth out I can comprehend. I get a little bit lost in the logic that this cures a muscular or mechanical problem in the lower body.Originally posted by Imustbreakyou View PostI remember something about Houllier sending him to get teeth out, in order to sort some kind of injury problem. Can't remember the details now though.
I suppose the weight of the teeth, especially if they are big ones, could affect balance
Not clear on what other connections exist

Although I know that Lyon full back failed a medical at AC Milan over his teeth. They reckoned it could point to spinal problems
