Everytime I watch Aquilani play it kills me to think he is there for free. Especially knowing we payed for Poulsen Always was a big supporter of Aquilani and I expeted him to really flourish this season till he left on the ridiculous deal... He is an excellent player and would certainly bring something to the squad which we simply don't have... Massive mistake.

Also, on that note, Milos Krasic has been immense for them. He absolutely dominated Lazio's left back the whole game. He looks a massive bargain for them with the way he has been playing, and Felipe Melo looks worth the fee now too...

Yeah I am, only local games unfortunately which does not include any Serie A teams. I would love to go to Turin but its too much of a pain. Although I have watched a lot of games which has been good considering they are normally on at horrible times for me...

If we brought him back that would give us a cental midfield of Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles and Aquilani to choose from. Suddenly it doesn't look too shabby in terms of technical and passing ability. Add a 'destructive' defensive midfielder to the mix and we've got excellent options and squad depth in that position. We also have Shelvey coming through.

Just really hoping we have the option to bring him back. He didn't hit the ground running here by any means, but towards the end of the season he really started to look the part. It's no surpise at all that he's doing so well over there

Sell sell sell before he breaks a toenail and is out for a year.

**** transfer from start to finish.

Well no, it's no surprise that he's doing ok in a league he's played in for the majority of hi career and was brought up in. 10mins to pick a pass, achres of space, slow and no tackling. A league that no doubt suits him best.

Good idea, Sydney need a new playmaker with Nicky Carle struggling for form

If, as seems likely given previous one-in one out style transfer annoyances, we needed him off the wage bill to bring in Meireles (who has played nearly every league game since he arrived) then you can see some logic to the decision.

Still think the need for that sort of transfer policy shows all involved in the previous ownership regime in a pretty bad light.
This is true really, but for me as I have mentioned before it was his movement and ability to create space that helped me make my judgement. It's a shame quite a few of our other players don't have his movement or ability to create/see space.

I do think Meireles has this also but I would like to see Aquilani come back and challenge him for the more attacking of the two central midfield places alongside Lucas or another defensive central midfielder. Gerrard should not play there, he should be behind Torres or out on the right.

Weren't there appearance stipulations in his contract?

I think if that were the case, then this might have more of a bearing on the loan deal. Especially if an accountatnt was running the club, ie ****ing Purslow.

Juventus lost 4-1 to Parma today, but Alberto played 90 minutes and got the assist.

Juve are the most over-rated team in europe. Im not one bit surprised they got pumped today. Krasic and Chiellini are too good for that team, if only we could turn our club around and sign them

Too true mate, Krasic is everything for that team in attack and Chiellini in defence.
