No disrespect Craig but how exactly do you know this??

And the answer of a cousin of a friends mate doesn't really cut it.

I'm not doubting that you do know I just think that a statement that big needs to be quantified for it to have any credibility
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

As to the former, well, we may be ****e but we're not going to be relegated. And for the latter, I suppose time will tell.

Of course if Hiddink were available for six months then great. But, apart from Red Adair, there isn't really anyone else (as caretaker).
      You are forgetting someone, no?

Why does a new man have to be 'caretaker' and not just proper fulltime permanent manager?

I dont 'know' it, i was just told, by someone i trust, who is close to one of the players' agents. I'm not going to name names, obviously. But it came from one of the players' agents, that much i can say. And it's not Struan.

If it was called upon Kenny he would do it, much like what happened before Roy was appointed, he stepped forward then and I think he would do the same again under the right circumstances.

I'm in full support of this though, I think it would be nice anyway, Rafa is back here afterall, he done a lot for us when he was in charge no-one here can deny that. It also sends out a strong message, a message that needs to be heard.

Rafa over Roy, hell yes. Kenny bringing back number 19 is a fairytale, but Rafa coming back and doing the same would be too. It's a shame people are so anti-rafa when so much was against the poor man in the build up to his departure.

          Rafa!

            No, I wasn't forgetting him.

I was specifically referring to the idea of bringing Kenny (or someone else) in on a caretaker basis. Personally I'd be happy if Imy's snowman took over but we don't actually need a caretaker because we're not that much in the ****.

As for Benitez, given he's a somewhat divisive character, I doubt he'd be able to galvanise the squad in the short-term. He could do it long-term for sure but that's obviously not the job of the caretaker. As I said, we'll find out who their long-term choice is when he's appointed which might be sooner than the summer of course if that choice is Benitez. But I doubt they'll go for him even then.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

That's majorly tenuous, but even if true, Thommo could do it.

I'm surprised Melboo & Lecter have not taken Craig to the cleaners like he normally does to them, when they post 'rumours' about the behaviours of certain players and previous managing directors

I think it might be good for rafa to take a break from footy for a period of time. It wont be too long because I dont think he is that type of character but he has a stressful time during last season, and the press were on his case all season. It couldnt have been easy at Inter, and it seems he was happy to finish there.

He was also getting bogged down in political issues at both clubs and so a break could do him good to recharge his batteries and clear his mind. I would like him back but we need to be careful not to get him in on sentimental terms and especially when we are not happy with what we have. A relaxed and rested Rafa would be a benefit for any club.

The next manager has to be one that can help us progress, having another stopgap manager is not what we need just to paper over Roy's failings and maybe this has to be considered with Kenny.

Looking forward to the 29th already....

Yeah you're right, the people who pay their money week in and week out, travel all over the country and provide the club with its second biggest revenue stream, should have no say.

                            Define "Liverpool Way".

Also, if you'll forgive the intrusion, how old are you?
