why? I'd be happy to see Agger on the pitch over the Konk, he's obviously best as a CB but then this Dodgson

We all know he plays 4-4-2 hence N'gog partnering Torres with SG in the middle..

This is the formation he prefers we all know what he should be using but he doesn't IMO this actually isn't a shocking line up if true.

I do get the impression that Roy considers Agger a left back

well he also seems to think Raul should be playing in the hole or on the right - Royston is a fool!

A fit Agger should be playing a CB, no doubt about that at all

I laugh then I sigh at the reality of it. Then I get depressed at the reality of it.

I think he just doesn't like ball playing CBs. You can't blame him for wanting an alternative to PFK at left back.

In all honesty Agger is hardly that good a left back. He got took apart quite a few times when at lb earlier this season.

Why he would play Agger when we have two senior lbs is beyond me. Surely Aurelio is available?

Anyhow, could it be that Roy is taking Konk out the firing line? I was wondering what type of reception he'd get at Anfield due to his mother mouthing off and calling Liverpool fans scum.

But then again, if he's staying he'll have to play at Anfield eventually so that doesn't really make much sense.
                    Forwards.......

How is that going down, are match goers planning to react?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The Aurelio situation is odd. That said it is quite possible that the sports science people think that a longer break from the first team will help his long term rehabilitation in which case fair enough really. I'm not saying Agger is a great option at LB (although I think he should probably be given a bit more time in the position if he is to be really judged).

I really hope no one abused PK at the game. For all my feelings that he is not good enough his own statements have always been very sensible and he obviously gives his all. If he wasn't so associated with Roy then I think I would be quite fond of his endeavour.

I think Roy has gone on record as saying he sees Aurelio as a LM and not a LB IIRC.

That, quite frankly, is an absolute disgrace.

I hope we scrape a 1 - 0 win with a really **** performance, well the norm really. Then the pressure will be well and truly on, and if the KOP have any balls they will let that be known.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.
