Did anyone notice the way the players went off tonight? Gerrard going round everyone, shaking hands, hugs - the others congratulating each other, everyone looking a bit more together? If Torres going has fostered a team spirit, thats as good as a signing in my eyes. Too many divisions and not enough team this last year.

Torres leaving may have had a galvanising effect on the team. We seemed to play more as a unit tonight.

I noticed that. What about the celebrations for the first goal? Haven't seen that sort of delight and unity for too long. Gerrard was great tonight in his captain's role, encouraging, dishing out pats on the bum etc. Great to see.

Couldn't have asked for a better run, going into this game on Sunday..

Confidence is high..

It does worry me though, that we seem to struggle a lot more, when teams ATTACK us..

Best form of defence is attack - Kenny knows this and will provide.

Probably Kyut by virtue of Suarez not being any near 100% match fit.
I imagine he'll be on as a sub at some point though

I think he has been poor since the Everton game and the opposition have looked to exploit him.

Really unsure were you seen that tonight. He was solid at the back, no one I can remember went past him. The only few times stoke threatened (and you'd struggle to call it that) was down the other side.

Thought he did well getting forward supporting the attack as well. No one had a bad or even average game tonight imo.
