My concern with people having a pop at Torres on Sunday is that his long time friend Pepe Reina may take offense and it may unsettle him. Someone suggested today that Pepe looked upset before the match and I wonder if he'll remain happy with him gone ?

No chance, the guy doesn't live in a bubble and however good friends they are I am sure Reina is smart enough to understand why the fans might be upset. He also stands about as close as a player can to our supporters and will know when we normally welcome back players with open arms and being a keeper he will also know the respect the Kop pays to opposition keepers too.

I wouldn't worry in the slightest that Reina would be offended, he is more likely to be suprised if To**es doesn't suffer the mother of all abuse.

Of course it's a possibility. I'd like to think Pepe is man enough to realise players come and go and to get on with it.

If he doesn't want to be part of the future at Liverpool he knows where the door is.
