No chance, the guy doesn't live in a bubble and however good friends they are I am sure Reina is smart enough to understand why the fans might be upset. He also stands about as close as a player can to our supporters and will know when we normally welcome back players with open arms and being a keeper he will also know the respect the Kop pays to opposition keepers too.

I wouldn't worry in the slightest that Reina would be offended, he is more likely to be suprised if To**es doesn't suffer the mother of all abuse.

Did anyone else hear graham hunter in newstalk.ie today talk about why Torres left so quickly? he thinks a lot of it was down to losing his Spain place to Fernando lorienta and that he went with Chelsea as barca dont need / can't afford him, france and German are a no starter and so it was either man city or Chelsea . Pretty interesting view of it all

Now my fellow Chelsea fans, I've heard some great suggestions...

Many amazing variations to the Torres song, but some have disappointed me.

Why was the 'Torres bounce' so popular at Liverpool?

Simple, it was an amazing chant that anyone and everyone can join in to. But some of the suggestions I've been hearing have worried me.

As funny as it is to refer to our fellow Scousers as 'bindippers' and laugh at how Torres put in a transfer request, we don't want this chant to make Torres or Chelsea FC seem as if we have no class.

Especially disappointed if the song that refers to the Hillsborough tragedy sticks.

I really can't imagine anything worse.

If such variations stick, I believe it'll end up being a small time song that'll never pick up, not enough people will join and will make us look pretty classless.

So if you go to matches, please try and sing the better variations that you hear, hopefully these will stick.

We don't want to be talking about Hillsborough or Liverpool FC's form in a chant that should be about Chelsea & Torres.

The best version I've heard so far is:

"He's now a blue he was a red, Torres Torres...
I'd rather walk alone he said, Torres Torres...
Off to Stamford Bridge he came, to score a goal in every game...
Fernando Torres, Chelsea's number nine!"

With this, we take the p*ss out of Liverpool, while promoting our star player and making him look like what the scousers think of him...

All Chelsea fans know he had every reason to leave that dead end club.

So come on guys, if you're going to the match on Sunday or in the future, try to stick to this sort of variation.
