I'm not sure about the state of his fitness, but the fact that Kenny hasn't given him much game time, so unless something changes between now and the end of the season I suspect he will be off in the summer.

He does. If he had it, he would have been a world class player and would have endured for much longer than that (not talking about his injuries there). He's got all the skills, been to a big club Chelsea now he's here and has had the biggest platform to showcase his talents.

In fairness those Mourinho remarks were some time ago when Cole was much younger, but it looked like Ancelotti felt he hadn't really developed that side of his game.

I know what you mean but surely it's reasonable for us to set more store by the judgement of someone like Mourinho or (taking Shaggy's point into account) Ancelotti than yours, even if you personally choose to ignore their perspective on this particular issue.
