Past it. The whole video sums up his career. Fancy tricks that catch the eye and not much end product. He does this slow running thing where he puts his whole body into it and makes it look like he's busting a gut...

    Nah. Not a Liverpool player.

        Past It?.... WTF...

The lad is injured and didn't get the run in under Roy and players with Joe Cole's skill and vision are hard to come by these days..

Pace doesn't need to come into it with these type of players..

He'll be a great addition when he's fit..

The lad is always injured. He's spent the last two seasons injured. He has no pace in a pace orientated game and little guile other than the fancy flicks. Past it.

Thats almost £5m pa. Sell him for £5, that will give us £20m that can be re-invested into the squad.

Give him until the summer and let Kenny try and work with him.
His link up play with Suarez could be great, if he's played in the right position..

And....He comes with a Stevie G commendation in training..

I dont need to hear a manager's opinion on a player, to either form my own, or justify it. Each to their own.

I'm not 'ignoring' their perspective, i just have a different one.
OK, good old Craig, seemingly oblivious to how that comes across...

Out of interest, have you really not heard that expression before?

Anyway I don't see the point in arguing with someone who is unwilling to refine his judgement about a player when it is the diametric opposite of the opinions of two Champions League winning managers who both know and have managed the player in question.

Obviously you're free to hold whatever opinion you like but your recent criticism of Arn for not being open-minded has, on this issue at least, a very hollow ring to it.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Would you go so far as to say Craig are bonker too?

I have said for years that Cole is over rated while others pined for him on this forum. That said I was always ready to give him a chance as our new number 10 and before he got sent off against Arsenal at Anfield I saw a real hunger about him that was convincing me he could be someone special for us. Since that say he hasn't looked as focused and sharp.

If anyone can bring the best out of an attacking player at this club its going to be Kenny so it will be interesting to see how Cole plays the next time hes involoved.

                              Obviously Torres wasn't convinced either.
