    David N'gog

He's a decent player, but it's pretty obvious he's not going to make it here long term.

We could keep him another year as a fourth choice striker, but what's the point ?

I'd prefer to see him sold for 5/6 million this summer while we take a chance on a striker from the youth team or a new signing as fourth choice forward.

N'gog should leave and play regular football somewhere else.

I'm firmly on the fence when it comes to N'gog, always have been...but would we get £5-6m for him?
    I'm not so sure tbh.

He's turd and definitely not worth £5-6m. We'd be lucky to get half that

I do feel we could do with another striker in the summer, N'gog could be on his way and you can't consider Pacheco to be part of our squad - unless there's a big turnaround.

Carroll, Suarez, Kuyt and another would leave us well stocked up in that department.

2or3m euros from a French first div club, I love him but he wont help us go any further. I always believe in giving them a full season to settle, then see what they can do. He has not really lived up to what is required to be a top striker in this league. Rather have one of the kids as 3rd choice striker.

In terms of goal threat, Kuyt's looked impotent of late, unfortunately.

So has Gerrard, what's your point?

As a back up striker(winger if needs must), i don't see the problem with keeping Kuyt.

                  Spot the difference.

My point is, having someone who is pretty much impotent up front = lack of goal threat.

                  Not rocket surgery.

We can't and shouldn't consider Kuyt as an attacking option.

If i was suggesting Kuyt should be starting, i would take your point but as a 3rd or 4th choice then i don't see the problem. It's not as if Kuyt can't get goals either, he's well capable of it

So if we're missing the first choice pair, you're happy for the one who steps in, to be impotent up there?

Kuyt hasnt got goals, or even looked like getting them, for a while.

2 goals in the last 3 months. And he basically plays every game.
