i said it right at the start of the thread we have more then enough in our locker now to deal with gerrard being out. It just depends how we perform. We just lack depth and quality on the bench. No doubt that these issues will be addressed through youth and player purchases. How about our 2 formations without gerrard for premiership games
4-4-2
reina
Carragher, skrtel, soto, johnson
Kuyt, lucas, raul, maxi
Suarez, caroll
Or 5-1-3-1
Reina
Johnson, carragher, soto, skrtel, ????? Maybe youth player
Lucas
Kuyt, raul,suarez
Caroll
Or
4-1-2-3
Reina
Carra, skrtel, soto, johnson
lucas
Raul, maxi
Kuyt, carroll, saurez
depends how well our injured players do, and again how we perform

I have had nothing but praise for Lucas this season as i said credit where credit is due, but do i think he is in any way creative? Not a chance! He does the simple things well, breaks up play and does short/sharp passes. He is still quite slow IMO and doesn't have the mobility like say Masch had, but Lucas seems to close off space well to be fair to him. His forward movements are very rare, the odd time he might roam forward but Lucas has made his name at Liverpool (so to speak) by grafting and putting in a shift in front of the backline, its a necessary and vital job and it's clearly the best and most predominant part of his game, other wise 3 managers in Rafa,Hodgson and Dalglish must not know what their doing and ust have missed this creative spark your talking about.
All i can think of is that you and i must have a very different idea to me of what a creative player is? But no probs each to their own opinion
Not exactly true...
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has started his rehabilitation following surgery on his groin, manager Kenny Dalglish has said.
The 30-year-old England midfielder underwent surgery last week and is expected to be out for about a month.
Dalglish commented: "Steven has had his operation and he feels good - he has started his rehabilitation already."
Gerrard suffered the injury in Liverpool's 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 6 February.
He has already missed Liverpool's Europa League defeat by Braga and will be unavailable for the return leg at Anfield on Thursday.
Reports had suggested that Gerrard would be out for four weeks following his operation.
That scenario would see him miss Premier League games against Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion and Manchester City.
Dalglish's best hope will be to have Gerrard available for the season run-in. The Liverpool boss is already without 19-year-old midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, who was ruled out for three months with a knee tendon injury in February.
Gerrard was forced to sit out five games for the Reds at the end of 2010 after tearing a hamstring during England's 2-1 defeat at home by France in November.
The player will also miss England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales on 26 March.

That's where he spends most of his time.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
