I'd love to see a huge squad overhaul, time for hungry players who want to do the best for Liverpool Football club.
Spot on sick to death of this half-hearted and inconsistent Liverpool squad.

Rip it up and start again.

    Roll on the summer.

Not Kuyt, he's given everything 99% of the time, one of if not the only one who has.

Quality is a debate for another day, but his commitment can't be doubted surely, and i could'nt make him culpable in any managers sacking by saying he's been lacking in effort.

But yeah, it's a pain how up and down we've been, and for so long now and for 3 different managers, especially when we've seen first hand what some of our players can produce when motivated to do so.

Anyway, hopefully the summer will be the dawn of a new age for this club.

What we lack is leadership, big time. Would the players been able to behave like they have done in some games if Hyypia for example would have been here?

We need a player that the players respect 100%. A player you know you know will do an excellent job as Captain in good and bad times.

Hyypia was never a leader, carra is though but you dislike him.

Hyypia as captain had the failings gerrard has as captain and thats being generally too quiet on the pitch.

Though i suppose it depends on what you want or think is important in a captain

Yep, we never lost to a **** team or went through the motions in a game when Hyypia was captain or played.

What I think is important to be a good Captain is that he doesn't get affected by bad times. He is the one that always lead by example. He NEVER sulks. You don't need to be vocal just show by your actions on the pitch that you simply never give up.

The players and fans know that you care about the club 100%. If someone makes a mistake and it gets to him then the Captain is the one talking to him and tries to get his head up. He leads by example.

He also always backs the manager in the media. Whatever the result.

I think Agger could be a great captain, pity about his injury problems.

Ok i maybe slightly exaggerated, lets say....98%, 95% of the time.

You know what i mean, i can't have Kuyt as one of the players in the 'bracket' of helping to get a manager sacked by not trying.

is that what you really want in a captain or is it just what you think gerrard or carra are not?

i want a vocal leader on the pitch. by that reckoning hyppia and gerrard are both not captains.

i dont mind your anti gerrard and carra stuff as i tend to agree with a lot of it, however you dont offer alternatives that are much better in the real world

He also doesn't back the manager in the media the way he should do as a Captain. Last season he should have backed Rafa week in week out in the media. He should have stood by him week in week out. Didn't happen. That is the way a bad leader acts. Sulks when it goes against him.

Carra also didn't back Rafa week in week out last season. He was very quiet when the media attacked Rafa. He didn't stood by him.

If you want to act like a good Captain then you back the manager and fight his corner in the media every week, whatever the result.

Reina was our best Captain last season by a mile. Lucas has been that this season.

So I can't give my opinion about Gerrard when someone ask for it? That is what I did this time.

We need captains all over the pitch. We used to have Reina, Carra, Hyypia, Xabi, Mascha, Gerrard, Torres who all used to step up and lead by example.

Disagree with Arn, I think Lucas doesn't take on a leaders responsibility, it's like he's scared of Carra and Gerrard.
                                We come not to play.
