He has, and was great against Man Utd. Was clearly nowhere near fit but was brilliantly disciplined despite apparently "not being able to play central midfield". He was sensational away to Burnley last season too and im sure I could think of a few more examples. He's becoming ridiculously underrated.

I think half the problems with Gerrard is that we know he is capable of such fantastic performances that when he doesn't always deliver them, people suggest he's past it or playing poorly when he probably isn't as bad as they are making out. I'd rather have in my team than not.
I make no apologies, this is me

Who'd have thought? With Spearing, Maxi, Meireles and Lucas ahead of him. All scapegoats or figures of ridicule in the not-too-distant past. For the record, of course he goes to the XI but he has to change his game a little bit, an adjustment that is surely due anyway with older legs.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

He was decent against Man U, not outstanding. Indeed Lucas was far more impressive and was outstanding. I thought Gerrard's best game this season was away at Chelsea. Very disciplined and steady - but not outstanding.

He played well at Burnley, but it wasn't much of a test against a doomed team leaking goals against everyone late in the season.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge Gerrard fan, but he's been a pale shadow of the world-class player he was. I hope he gets over his persistent injury problems because he has been nothing like the player he once was.

Pretty outstanding when he came on as a sub against Napoli and single handedly turned them over if you ask me...Gerrard will get back to form with Kenny behind him.

He's not top of the MOTM ratings for nothing, even if you could argue that there are more worthy players. He was excellent at home to Stoke BTW, I think it was the first game we played 3 at the back.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Fulham defender Baird set for FA charge over alleged 'V-sign'

Fulham defender Chris Baird could face FA sanctions after flicking a V-sign at referee Lee Mason.

The full-back reacted angrily after he was booked for a challenge on Dirk Kuyt during Monday's 5-2 defeat against Liverpool with FA chiefs set to investigate the incident.

Mark Hughes' side suffered their heaviest home defeat after a rampant Liverpool side scored three goals inside the opening 20 minutes.
Baird's frustration is likely to land him in hot water with the FA

However, Fulham could argue that their defender should face no action after Wayne Rooney escaped punishment for a similar gesture, during Manchester United's 2-0 win over Chelsea in which the striker is alleged to have sworn in the direction of Chelsea's travelling supporters.

I saw that at the time straight away......he even waved his hand a second time to make it look like he was just flipping off the decision.

                        Definite two fingered salute.

He opens his wallet and unleashes a mamouth cock, no he doesn't but he does get out 3 tickets for him and his mates for the game, but as they are in the fulham end he couldn't face it, the third goal goes in and they catch a cab to the game. then about 5 minutes from the end they turn up again, they had been refused entrance and had missed all the goals!
