Having the POTY playing for the club means a lot of positive PR and that positive PR is worth a lot of money so of course it isn't worthless.

Having the POTY playing for the club probably add a few extra millions to the club in sponsorship money.

Can you back this up? Has it ever effected other clubs and players with more sponsorship money? I really really doubt it. Its a bit of good PR dude. Nothing else.

Can't sell Suarez, he's the only decent player we have.

I'm at the stadium and just spoke to a security chap and the general word is that he's no bigger than the club. So he's got a lot more to do to redeem himself from now on then. Shame that.
          Are we winning?

If he can't do that then we need a stronger manager that can handle a player like Suarez if we decide to keep him.
I'm really glad that, whilst I was watching us come from behind twice and securing a well deserved draw, something else happened yesterday that suited your persistent agenda and gave you a stick to beat the manager with.

How about Rafa reacting to our starting to press them by making 3 like for like attacking substitutions, 3 players who added nothing to stabilize the Chelsea defence which was rocking? Eh? Bringing off Hazard and replacing him with a rat, leaving Terry on the bench etc

The people who say "Where would LFC be without him" should have a look at the league table and see where LFC is with him.
Stupid comment, what's that got to do with anything, so take Suarez away from this season Didi then have another look at where we would be.

Luis is a genius but he walks the fine line between genius & madness each time he goes out on the pitch - nobody knows [probably not even himself] what he's going to do next which is why we all love him and everyone else hates him, if you try to take this away from him, he wouldn't be the player he is...

Arn you talk absolute ****e sometimes lad.

It's not Rodgers fault if Suarez bites someone ffs! Have a go at Luis all you want but don't try and blame Rodgers for what happened.

I wouldn't dream of selling him.

FFS Cantona booted an opposition supporter in the face with a karate kick and Ferguson never even dreamed of selling a player so important to the team. He brought him back and he was phenomenal for them again.

He clamped his jams on a player. Have we seen any bite marks?

Players purposely attempt to injure other players on a regular basis and it doesn't get this sort of attention.

Defoe bites Mascherano and people laugh it off.

Suarez is flawed in his madness on the pitch but he's also an absolute genius who would walk into almost any team on the planet.

He deserves a ban until the end of the season and a massive fine and then next season he can continue to play for us.

It will be interesting to see what the FA do. If he gets more than 4 games they are basically saying biting is worse than racism.

To be fair, that's not really a revelation mate.

The club will sell him reluctantly as he's our most valuable asset. If, as I'd prefer, we keep him then he's got to make up for being a **** and I'm happy to see him fight to put things right.

This morning, with a very heavy heart I am thinking he should be sold. Unfortunately he will never ever be left in peace here at Liverpool, not by the media or the football community at large. He is damaged goods now and there is no come back from this IMO, his every single move will be scrutinised like never before and he can never win no matter how well he plays.

And the saddest thing is without some real help he will always be on the cusp of another moment of madness. It is better for him and his family IMO because I get the horrible feeling we are ready to hand him over to the baying mob.

The best thing for him right now would be for Ivanovic to come out and publicly accept his apology and show him some moral support if that is possible. Unlikely I know.
