Well, he said that there is no offer, he's under contract but he wants to leave because of the way he has been treated by the press. Said he received no support (!??) - I suppose his hero worship from LFC fans counts for nothing.
The bite was the last straw for him - his mistake, but meh, **** it, I'm off.

He's not exactly said he will leave. He said he doesn't know if he will leave or stay. If no club comes in for him he'll stay and honour his contract.

Great player but bloody frustrating too. As we saw when he wasn't banned it either meant Sturridge on the bench or played deeper. I think to get the best from Sturridge he needs to be central and pushed on. We can have more shape without Luis in the team. Of course we'll miss his trickery but when all said and done we finished well off the pace with him in the team. I don't hate him yet I never loved him. I think his actions have tarnished the reputation of the club and that should never happen regardless of the talent. If he thinks our media is bad, don't Madrid have about ten pages daily written about them? They take instrusion to a whole new level. £100 says he gets sent off against Barca, he'll never be able to take the pressure.
