Liverpool insist unsettled Uruguay striker Luis Suarez is not for sale.
Suarez, 26, was reported by Sky Sports News to have told a news conference in Uruguay he wanted to leave the club.
A Liverpool spokesperson said: "Luis Suarez is not for sale. Neither Luis or his representatives have communicated these feelings directly to Liverpool.
"The club remains supportive of Luis and expect him to honour his contract. The club will not be making any further comment at this stage."

Right - either full value which is the full buy-out clause or, if there is no buy-out, then £50 million. Otherwise stick in him in the reserves for 6 months.
I'm sick of the way some footballers go about things. Whatever the validity of his reasons it comes down to this for me - if he wants to leave his agent should have lined the move up privately and he should have told the club privately.
The circus he isconducting in public shows a massive lack of respect for the club and for the fans - especially given how we have supported him.

Suarez leaving isn't a big problem but if Coutinho next season also want to leave then it is a big big problem.
We must have world class players to be able to attract other world class players.
The club must now spend the money on that type of player. A world class player that can attract other world class players.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

He may want to leave and if he does I certainly won't hate him for it. I would be disappointed.
However it's all irrelevant because there is no deal to sell him and no deal even close to sell him. Not even a bid. He doesn't like the English press and fa so his move would be to Europe. The Italian teams can't afford him and I don't think he wud go to France. So his only options are Bayern barca and Madrid. Bayern are signing Gotze and lewandowski. If real are giving Ronaldo a bumper new contract and going after bale for 50m I don't think they would be in a position to spend another 50m on suarez. Barca are signing neymar so where would they play Luis?
Luis can want to go but I don't see any deal happening to easily. Imo he will stay at the club

We have been lucky enough to have world class talents at the club over recent years likes of Alonso,Masch,Torres,Suarez and potentially Coutinho. This seems to be the dynamic of LFC of late. Unless we push on as a club and start winning things eventually top class players will want to leave and play for a club that will challenge for top honours. It's a bitter pill to swallow when we see these types of talent coming and going.
Coutinho has been superb, but he has a long way to go before he will be considered by the best. When Suarez does go it'll be very interesting to see how we go about spending our money. One Big transfer or several smaller ones?
The whole football market before this potential saga was already exciting & curious. Players and Managers changing hands. I've accepted that Suarez is gone, should shut up and engineer his move quietly with a bit of respect.... now i'm more interested to see what Rogers plan is in replacing him when he eventually does go.
Sure it ain't LFC if there isn't any drama.

The more the better if there isn't a minimum release......Originally posted by Bender View Postsounds like Bayern getting involved now
If there is a clause, I'd rather it gets done and dusted so we can actually concentrate on our own ****..."I will make the boys feel your support"

yup he wants out so be it, once we get top dollar for him. Nothing worse than losing your best player and not getting the value you think you should.
