    So...

Suarez to Chelsea to replace Torres.

    Comment

I believe Manchester City will be interested too.

      To replace Tevez, obv.

Would Suarez leaving for Chelsea be a worse, more unforgivable act than Torres doing the same?

        Comment

I think we hold all the power.

The squad needs an addition that can replace Luis purely because the ****er is suspended for averaging 8 games a season.

So lets just go sign the right replacement, lead Madrid on all summer and put the price up just before the window closes/slams shut. They'll pay as the alternative is to sign no one and we can rest assured Luis will have a blinder as its World Cup year. Threaten him with the bench for being a tart and see what performances he turns in for us.

Bit like mignolet. Reina basically has had his bluff called. His loss in World Cup year. Same for Suarez.

Yes. Suarez has said he wants to leave because of the way the media here treat him, so running off to London where the media are based would be unforgivable. Torres gave us good years, didn't win anything here and we started to decline, poor choice of club to go to but he's won the CL, FA Cup and Europa League so as horrible as it is to think it, if he wanted to win things since he didn't at Atletico either, then it looks like he got what he wanted.

Well, I think it is the other way around. I think the club counted on that Reina would leave but he won't do that IMO.

Now Rodgers time after time say that Mignolet isn't signed as Reina's replacement. The reason why IMO is that Reina is refusing to leave.

This thread has been going on with so much ridiculous speculation I do not know if that is serious of an off hand comment but his last 9 facebook posts have presumably all been about Uruguay so less worthy of a translation compared to his posts about Liverpool

Torres went there and his injury problems disappeared overnight. I bet if Luis went there he wouldn't so much as lick anyone

For me yes it would, partly because we have already watched Torres do the same. Also because if we are to believe what is being said that he wants to leave because of the way the press have treated him then there is no way he should join another English club. Finally when we sold Torres I felt the fee we got for him represented a good deal, we should be getting at least the same for Suarez if we sell him and the rumours suggest that the fee would be a hell of a lot less.

If we sell him I would be gutted, if we sold Suarez for ~£35m I would be angry, if we sold him for ~£35m to a Premiership club I would be furious.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If a player say that he want to leave because he want to play in the CL and win trophies then I don't have a problem with that. It is up to the club to get the best possible transfer fee. If we don't then I blame the club and not the player.

It isn't Torres fault that we signed Carroll for £35m.

The end off the day players are under contract so should be down to the club to sell or keep, but as we all no the power has shifted since the Bosman ruling so something needs to change and brought into line like the rest of us under employment law,it's beyond a joke in my eyes how these players can dictate moves when they feel like
