He can redeem himself quite easily in a similar way Gerrard did.

He can state his frustrations about CL football, he can complain about the press but he has to be honest if he is going to stay.

He needs to publicly commit himself to the cause and get his head down and work.

Those that killed her, were following the law.

And if he stays he probably will.

        I agree it's easy.

Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger refuses to rule out a move for Liverpool's Luis Suarez
          12 Jul 2013 11:36

"Suarez? As you know the transfer period demands secrets and confidentiality, so I can't answer the question," says Gunners chief

          From John Cross in Jakarta

Arsene Wenger today refused to rule out a move for Luis Suarez.

Arsenal have made an enquiry for Liverpool striker Suarez and Wenger was quizzed about a potential deal at the club's arrival press conference after they touched down in Indonesia.

Wenger said: "Suarez? As you know the transfer period demands secrets and confidentiality, so I can't answer the question."

Wenger said Arsenal are happy to be in Asia and expects a tough test in their four games, starting against an Indonesian XI on Sunday.

"I don't know much about the Indonesian team, but I expect them to make us suffer!" said the Frenchman. "Because Asian players are quick, agile and mobile and we are at the start of the season.

"We are very happy to be here. We've never been here before so we want to give happiness to all our fans here. I'm sure we can leave here with great memories."

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere said: "I have a lot of Twitter followers from Asia. You guys wake up in the middle of night to watch our CL games so we want to put on a show for you."

Theo Walcott was mobbed when he arrived in Jakarta and was asked whether he was ever star struck.

Walcott added: "When I first moved to Arsenal it was an honour to meet the boss, I remember I was star struck. But when I met Thierry Henry, I was like a little schoolgirl."

What a ******! Surely not a single Arsenal fan will fall for that bull****?

A week ago whilst he was busy with Uruguay his crime was not speaking out to clear his name, his silence spoke volumes.

Now his crime is not remaining silent and allowing them to misinterpret his words.

He can't win. Unless he comes out and states "I want to stay its all bull****", and if hes in any doubt (which I expect he is) that would be a lie.

My view on the Suarez saga and the position of Liverpool FC is the following.
                  • Liverpool realise that Suarez is a crucial player (probably top ten in world right now), and they need a player of that calibre to get back into the Champions league and to challenge.
                  • Suarez, feels he can get more money / higher profile playing for a champions league team, although he clearly feels at home at Liverpool FC.
                  • Liverpool have learn the hard way about dealing with these sorts of issues, Torres /Owen, and will not want a repeat of the Andy Carroll situation.
                  • Liverpool value Suarez at 50m +
                  • Liverpool will not easily find another top ten player willing to come to Anfield not to play in the Champions league, unless they discover another hidden gem.
                  • Liverpool do not need to sell Suarez as he still has 3 years no his contract.
                  • there is a world cup year coming up, and although it is by no means certain that Uraguay will qualify, his value could be considerably higher next Summer.
                  • there are not that many clubs in Europe willing to spunk 50m on Suarez. Liverpool are clearly prepping the local press to set expectations on price.

                  • therefore I do not expect Suarez to leave Liverpool this Summer.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

5 cups. I do, for £40m. I also think this is the most he'll ever be transferred for

                            Thanks.

I don't really need to know but I thought it would aid General Confusion.
