I'm struggling to think of many worse things that happen in football matches too. Least not regularly

A 20 game international suspension, purely owing to his availability for the clib he plays for makes him attractive to other teams

The fact that he bites other players doesn't
Every time someone goes over the ball, every time an elbow is raised. All these things are worse, much worse.

Contact sport is not an excuse for some of the challenges that we see of a football field. People tolerate deliberate kicks and horror challenges because "it's part of the game"

        It ****ing well shouldn't be.

Repeatedly deliberately kicking an opponent is scummy.

He clearly needs some sort of help with this but if you take it in context of other incidents in football - Keane trying to break Halands leg, Moureen sticking his finger in an eye or perhaps zidane head butting Matterazzi its not worse than them. You can't defend him for his actions but the reaction from the British media is typically OTT I mean it's all that's been discussed on SSN today.

Hopefully he'll only receive an international ban but I wouldn't rule anything out at the moment as it's "Suarez" and if he thought he was given a tough time in the press over here before it's now going to be a hell of a lot worse.

I fancy if the right bid comes in we might well cut our losses now, it'll be gutting but the press will be relentless with him and probably us as well and FSG and Rodgers could take the view of take what we can and pass the issue off to someone else.

He's not going to get in a criminal record. Jesus, listen to yourself!!

That doesn't make any sense. The incident happened after England's game and has no bearing on England's lack of progression.

                        **** England anyway.

                          From a BBC article:-

Chiellini pulled himself up from the ground and went straight to the Mexican referee Marco Rodríguez - whose nickname happens to be Dracula - to protest. The Juventus defender pulled down the neck of his shirt to expose what, viewed later on photographs, appeared to be a bite mark.

You couldn't make it up lol. [emoji23][emoji23]

Have seen someone say that it's not half as bad as a spear tackle in rugby. Yes, biting aint as bad as a tackle that could very easily kill someone.

Nobody else appears to be that arsed about it than the English so maybe FIFA aren't either. One of the English journos tweeted last night that out 100 journos at the post game press conference only the English ones wanted to talk about the bite.
