    Who Wants To Say Sorry?

Ok, now that the Yanks are out... the YANKS ARE IN!

Our new owners have not put a foot wrong since buying the team; every decision seems rational and smart, they spent £50m+ in the January transfer window and got Suarez and Carroll, they got rid of the sulk and Woy, they re-signed Pepe and hired Kenny full time.

So, as an American, I await your praise and plaudits for the sporting ability of my countrymen. Clearly, they put the right people in the right positions and have restored the pride of LFC. Yes, we need to buy and yes, we need to win titles and silverware, but so far, so good.

    Get in!

No they didn't spend 50m, their outlay was 3m max. Still nothing on the stadium plans.

But, to be truthfull most of what they have done has been excellent, but even tho the jury is still out, it is getting ready to come back in.

No fat cigar yet, the last 2 Yanks still have scars left to heal properly.

And they dallied too long in getting rid of Hodgson.

            No pleasing some people...

Look at the history of Liverpool these past title-free decades (yes, decades... it hurts my soul!)... If getting rid of Torres for £50m and immediately pumping it back into two young, world class strikers while dumping your **** manager and hiring the King is not the best set of decisions anyone has made during that time period, I'll eat my hat. That was a huge set of balls, an epic January, and every single decision has been the right one.

            Oh when the Yanks...
            Go marching in...

I was critical that they took too long to sack Hodgson - and 2 days since any chance of CL football died, does that decision to keep hold of him til January look like the right one to you?

I admit I had my reservations about them and they are being layed aside. But I'm with Craig in that Roy had too much time to **** up and that's not hindsight saying that, I was pretty pissed off and vocal at the time as well.

However, aside from that, they are efficient and impressing the hell out of me tbf. From january this has been so much fun.

Has Pepe re-signed? When did that happen?

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

They're doing well, though as others have said Hodgson was kept way to long, hopefully a lesson learnt but we wont be having that problem again anyway. We've got a great manager now and fair play to em for that. Not allowing Torres to go until we sorted ourselves out was a ruthless move and theyve put a good structure in place.

Think the time for saying how amazing they are etc is for a little way down the line yet though, we've still got a stadium to builld or Anfield to be done up, a summer window etc etc. I've got confidence they'll deliver.

Dont think people should be criticised for expressing a few doubts after what happened last time, its perfectly normal and trust should be earned and so far they're earning it.

Sorry for what? Previous yanks deserved the hatred, current yanks doing a fine job. There is good and bad in all countries, as an example Woy is English

Was written in jest, but if we do want to get serious for a moment; you never would have known that LFC supporters were thinking as you do during the sickening reign of G&H... People slagging them off for being Americans. There was no "c*nts are everywhere", it was Yanks this, flag burnings at Anfield, etc. I know that doesn't reflect everyone, and like I said, I made this post in jest to celebrate the quality of FSG, but there were plenty on here slagging off the USA...but whatever. all in fun.

Didn't mean that as seriously as it probably came across

I think a lot of it was just finding an easy label for them, so yanks it was, not really meant as an anti USA thing. Now if you could just stop saying "awesome" all the time and shouting "get in the hole" at the golf, all will be well.
