i didn't think we were fantastic but i'd have taken 3-0 with stevie scoring before the match.

a lot of people have mentioned that we were under a lot of pressure in the 2nd half prior to the sending off. a combination off a slight slackening on our part and bordeaux having a proper go creating 3 very good chances for them.

with our still fairly fragile defence even 2 weeks ago we would have conceded in those siutations, but each time carra, sami or reina were fantastic and that part of the game will give our defence a boost i hope- tremendous blocks and saves.

watch stevie go now as well. the rest of the league better watch out cause he'll be flying now

Game was just a formality, and unless they had scored 1st is was always going to be a stroll in the park and no need to up a gear.

we had the same team out as that on saturday so our players would have been too knackered to go at it 100 MPH.

Another day and stevie would have had a hatrick.
They had a couple of chances but never felt they were a threat.

Sami again looked slow and what with the cold weather thought he went into hybernation during the match only to wake to pass to an opo.

Stevie looked happy with his role, which was the main plus as this will win us the PL.

Watching Robbies off the ball movement is a joy to watch and his closing down play near the end was so Rush like.

3-0 and Vlad got a song, although some dicks shouted out **** to the he's great bit

It certainly is - the most embarrasing thing for me, and it happens and EVERY home game(domestic) - is the chant "your support is ****ing ****" from the away fans, which gets a half arsed reply from the kop of "who the ****ing hell are you" which fizzles out after two verses.

I haven't got a season ticket but manage to get to about 80% of home games due to PTS, fancard, or various family/friends season tickets who can't go. As a result I find myself sitting all over the ground, which gives me decent experience of where is good to sit. IMO the Annie Road end always has good atmosphere, due to how close to the away fans/low roofing etc, even when the rest of the ground seems to be half asleep the Annie Road has it's only little vibe going on, obv the big games nothing beats the Kop but the rest of the time there is actually some life in the Annie Rd.

the way I see it is The Kop is a big sleeping giant, that burps its way through the lesser games. But once it is woken up - **** me, it is a force to be reckoned with - it's just trying to wake the **** up.

Agreed about Annie Road end, only thing is we seem to loose every time I sit there, so I refuse to go anymore.

used to love the KOP in 80's and 90's but now seems to be full of moaners

same as you no season ticket just PTS and recon aswell Anny road is the best place to be re atmosphere, apart from one dick shouting **** to Vlad's song and another only vocal when Momo missplaced a pass, the rest was possitive shouts and songs.

Won't be long before the euro nights will fizzel into little or no noise.
Last night was quiet considering the KOP stood up all match, that normally kicks starts the extra volume.

IMO its just the changing nature of football, more family orientated, more expensive, seats and every game on the tele.

It looks like Reina is hitting form again, and that helps the CD alot.
I think Sami has been suffering from Reina poor start to season as he`s the one that most dependent on Reina staying alert and act as a sweeper.

was sat in lower annie, first row behind the bordeaux goal in the 1st half, highlight was watching a bordeaux player having a shot and splattering a bloke's pie all over his white& green kit
The keeper who doesn't like crosses

Have we actually worn that kit in a competitive game yet this season?
