Anyone using those 4 defeats against Kenny is being daft. Or attention seeking.

11 away defeats is a terrible stat for a Club like Liverpool.

7 of them under Roy, but 4 under Kenny which can't be overlooked.

And it's nothing to do with using 4 defeats against Kenny.

It's about making the point that the 11 away defeats weren't solely down to Roy.

hodgson wasnt qualified enough to manage this club. it proves that when the club is run by people who dont have a ****ing clue about football and listen to the players about who should be the next manager it is destined to fail.

we finished one position above last season and its done now. we wont win the league next season but we need to be challenging for fourth. Its going to be difficult because the teams above us all have better squads than we do already.

          my shopping list is

gary cahill, jose enrique, blaise matuidi, james mccarthy, stewart downing and ashley young, sylvain marveaux, charles nzogbia

          the young lads coming through

martin kelly, danny wilson, daniel ayala, jonjo shelvey, jay spearing

          we will lose

paul konchesy, fabio aurelio, christian poulsen, milan jovanovic, emiliano insua, alberto aquilani, joe cole, brad jones

          we could lose

maxi rodriguez, dirk kuyt, raul meireles, david ngog

One of Kenny's away defeats was his first game in charge wasn't it? Things were not exactly good then.

There's still time for improvement tho'. A couple of good players can help improve the away form.
thats fair enough but when he came in, in the 12 months prior we had won 2 out of our previous 19 away league games. Since he came in we have won 4 in 9, and have the second highest points per away game in that period - behind only chelsea. So, even though we want to win every game, there has been significant turnaround.

Great post, and very well put. Unfortunately there is a dullard in our midst.

there is a huge difference in results thoug as well as performances. Woy won 1 in 10, Kenny 4 in 9. I would say it has a hell of a lot to do with Woy.

I never disagreed with that part but just saying our away form hasn't been as good as you'd want it to be which would be ~2 pts per game.

I know even the winners this season don't have 2pts per game away but their home form is something that we cannot replicate. SO we need to get more points away from home.

up until last week we had the 2nd best record since january. damn near championship form. ok, we came unstuck at the end, but we did it all missing about 5 first team players and fielding fringe players and youngsters.

                      roll on transfers and august.

The last two seasons have been a nightmare. Kenny’s got a massive job on his hands but I’ve got complete faith in him. I can’t wait for next season to start!
                        Another MASSIVE game

I know we didnt cut it, but there were reasons. At this level, any kind of lethargy is going to have an imopact on results. And WHU away, it did.

Sure those away defeats were poor - but we won at Chelsea, drew at Arsenal and won at places comfortably, compared to the hell that was an away game under Hodgson.

every club in the division could say the same then. This season especially, 2 points per game (home games as well) would almost have won the league so to get them in away games only would have been some effort.

We are still 3rd in the table since Kenny took over.

I'm not arguing with that. There's no doubt that there's be en unbelievable turnaround since Kenny took over. He's worked miracles along with Steve Clarke.

But at the same time, i'm not gonna accept stupid comments like the Roy effect meant we lost 11 away games because that's simply not true.
