He was the league top assist maker during the time he got a fair chance. I think being the top assist maker show that he is good enough. He wasn't second or third he was the top assist maker. To be that without being match fit is simply excellent.

I think getting rid of him would insane, he was productive in his short period when actually played with us, there is nothing to suggest he is not suited to playing in the PL in the slightest.

I don't believe anyone but it's clear you don't rate Aquilani. Firstly it was because he wouldn't fit in tactically (maybe Kenny has let it known that he doesn't see how he could fit in) and now, the main motive to get rid is because he wants to leave. Maybe the truth lies in between, like someone somewhere doesn't rate him therefore he wants to leave.
