I still miss him from time to time though.

He was my favorite player before he left I was gutted when he pulled Chavs stunt on us.

If he only trusted our new owners everything would have been different including his career as no fans supported him through thick and thin as us.

I voted Suarez as he's a more complete player and contributes more to the game, The thing that I loved and hated about Torres was he'd do nothing all game and then out of nowhere would score. Torres in his prime and Suarez together would be deadly and only city could give that pairing a run for its money but it wasn't to be.

Just watched the 50 goal vid and now I cant' lift my head or smile at all.

For ****s sake Torres your impatience blew apart potentially the best attacking force football will have seen in years you dumb ****!

Suarez is a magician, strong and can make things happen from less than nothing.
Torres knew where the net was and how to get the ball in it from any angle under any circumstances.
And with Gerrard coming back (probably in good condition and mood) teams would have been scared ****less before a ball was kicked - the old Liverpool way.

        To upset (undecided) to vote

Still Torres for me I'm afraid, but it's very early doors with Suarez so it's not really a fair poll as yet. Suarez is a more complete player but Torres was that good a striker with that good movement that he effectively brought others into play by virtue of having to be triple-marked.

I also think it's easy to forget how much of a battler Torres was at 1st- that was a huge part in why we loved him so much- his willingness to battle- think his 1st game vs Chavs or hatty vs Reading when they kicked the **** out of him.

Won't be looking atthe 50 goals, no good will come of it. Am over him, but it'd still be like looking over a photo album with a dead fit ex who cheated onyou. Even though she'd since turned into a fatty, it's still not worth dwelling on. The one goal that does stand out in my memory though was that Van Bastenesque one vs Blackburn- I thought "he's capable of anything" after that.

If we'd have had today's Suarez instead of Keane to add to that team, we'd have been a league title- and maybe even a European Cup better off...
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I've pretty much eradicated all memory of Torres as an LFC player. Due to this, I only find amusement from his recent exploits and leads there to be only one answer to the question.

As much I like Suarez and know that he will improve further I've voted for Torres.

Torres was lethal and was also great with his head too, something I've not seen much of from Suarez.

He was a great finisher and had everything, shame he had to leave us as he was made for this club.

It is not only Gillett and Hicks fault to be fair. You can blame Moores as much as them for what happened to the club.

You can most probably count in players like Aguero, Pato, Alves and Young that would have played for us if we would have had a good owner with a winning ambition.

As you said, what a team we could have had We could have been dominating the league and the CL for years.

Nonsense. Moores might have ****ed up in selling to them, but he never had malicious intent, unlike the pair of cunts.

Torres can go **** himself. He was only good because of the Red shirt. He's nothing without. He was nothing before it and he's nothing after it
