Thanjk you.

I used to love the fact that we had THE best number 9 in the world playing for us. At one point there was no doubting it, as long as the team was set up to make him look like that. More flexibility with Suarez.
Suarez, better all-round player and even when he doesnt score, he makes things happen. Gets assists and just has more to his game. Is also younger and has a winning mentality, rather than a sulking one.
Suarez. More to his game, makes others better, has a bit of bottle and doesn't seem to be a crock (touch wood)
Torres was insanely good at scoring though.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
tough one really but Suarez I think, Torres you need to build the team around and was so good at scoring it was unbelievable whereas Suarez just makes things happen, whenever he's on the ball there's that buzz that something is going to happen
Can't quite make my mind up definitively but I'm erring towards Torres. I'm not sure I feel as sure we will score with Suarez in the team whereas when Torres was at his peak I thought it was utterly inevitable.

He was lethal, for a period of time you had no doubt if he had the ball and was around the box that he would score. there was no doubt no debate he would just score. He was the best striker in the world. He wasnt sulky he put up with kickings just get up and probably score in revenge. That burst of pace, he was so fast. Lets not forget he also played in the best team we have had for years and incidentally was better than the one we have at the moment (obviously we hope that this one grows and matures and becomes better than the 09 team) Also he did create goals. Not by skill but by occupying defenders and worrying them and his movement created space for others.
his downsides were the injuries and then the last few months at the club. We were disillusioned as fans so i do think its possible players would be.
Suarez is a cracking player. I dont actually think he is that clinical. However we havent bought him because he is clinical he will get more than his fair share of goals and will create them for others. Also At the moment he is in the infancy of his LFC career. It may be in a couple of years i would answer Suarez.
the sad thing is that we didnt have them both available with a torres at his peak that would have been frightening.
I can't decide. Torres best finisher I've ever seen or Suarez who's finishing is okay but his ability to unlock defences and set up other players is second to none. I'm thinking Dirky against United. I can't think of a player who has ever scored a hattrick and NOT been made man of the match. Suarez was the matchwinner against United but didn't score. He'll be doing more of that this year.... as well as score some.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
