Top post, sadly you are amongst the minority on here with this point of view.
    I agree too.
I didnt agree with your post, but i dont see the need to start a campaign lol.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      On their day...

      Top Tier

      Chelsea
      AC Milan
      Barcelona

      Second Tier

      Liverpool
      Inter
      Bayern
      Valencia
      Roma
      Madrid
      Manure
      Arsenal
      Lyon

We are the 5th ranked team in Europe according to UEFA and I'd agree with that. On their day all the above teams are capable of winning the competiton but Chelsea, Barca and AC Milan (based on current quality) are the more likely. Liverpool however have history and Anfield on their side. No one likes coming to Anfield on European nights....just ask Jose.

Not sure if id have Milan in the top tier now, they really miss Sheva.
Nice touch putting Liverpool top of the second list by the way

          Week vs weak?

Anyhow, pedantry aside, then debunk his points using the ammunition he provides rather than focus on him as an individual, throwing personal abuse around does no-one any favours, and actually only gives the opposing view the ammunition needed to go and make said claims on wherever that happens to be.

He is, after all, a Red.

It's all checks & balances, so therefore your optimism far outweighed his pessimism when it came to actual facts today, ie the result.

What is it they say, opposites attract?!!

What I mean is though, if you can't be positive about a home banker like reading at home, then whats the point? I'm as realistic as the next guy, but lets be real for a minute.

On this occasion I agree with your POV, but it doesn't mean that other PsOV are not valid, even the opposite end of the scale to you is still worth listening to, but abuse of posters due to differing views shouldn't be tolerated that's all.

I only said he was a pain in the Arse, I can think of much worse I could have said, but I held back because I'm an all around nice guy.

We're all a pain in the arse just by responding, it means it needs a reply!

                        Chelsea
                        Barcelona

                        Inter Milan

I'd be very surprised if any side from the third batch wins it though.
Sorry, I'm not jumping on the band wagon but this is nonsense. You can't judge who is going to win the champions league in May based on their form in October in competitions which have a completely different format.

Any of the teams who qualify could win. But seriously, I wouldn't put Lyon ahead of us.

No, no, do jump in by all means, it was getting too friendly by all accounts!

Oh, and I agree with you, I'm sure we were flying in Oct 2004 and were nailed on to win the CL, we were weren't we??

I can't be bothered anymore, he is on ignore now, I have not thrown any personal abuse in my statement. All that aside, I just generally don't like him or his attitude to not just some members of this site, but to this site in general.
