Even IF he gets a light sentence or CS, the ban from the FA should finish him.
This is first offense of this kind and he doesn't have the criminal record so I expect them to be very lenient.

Also he'll have multi-million legal representation in his corner and I wouldn't be surprised if this dragged through court system for a very long time and eventually becomes yesterday's news.

Terry will get a small fine and a couple of weeks probation at most.

The FA will then use the fact the he has "already been punished" as an excuse not to charge him with anything.

guarentee the FA will not do anything with Terry - they will say it's a criminal/court case and so out of there hands and nothing to do with them.

Terry will get a fine for about £500 and community service going to kids soccer schools

Thank f*ck for that. Terry is English and though won't be cast as a pariah he will certainly take a LOT of media attention away from Suarez. Hopefully, Luis and his family may be left alone now.

The Crown Prosecution Service say that the maximum punishment for John Terry if he's found guilty of this offence is a fine of £2500

                    ****ing hell -

Suarez £40000 - as i read yesterday, entire countries have been fined less when there has been blatent racist abuse with plenty of evidence.

never mind throwing the book at Suarez - they've thrown the whole ****ing library at him

Still this has to tie the hands of the FA a bit, the eyes of the world are on them now, FIFA, UEFA, the Uruguayan FA etc. will be watching and they can't get away with not punishing Terry. He'll get eight games as well IMO, although he should get a longer sentence.

In fairness most people are quick to slate UEFA off for their pathetic fines in such cases. And as we've seen recently, the FA and UEFA follow different disciplinary guidelines. I'm not in any way condoning the amount that Luis has been fined though!

But if Terry IS found guilty by law, then the FA has a duty to follow that up with their own punishment.

Why? When we were just looking to link up with that club in Uruguay?
                            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

They can't get away with not punishing him, no way. But I still don't feel any better about Luis!
