I think we'll be lucky to get in Europa League position this year but I really hope we do as you say its great experience.

Over the last couple of seasont the 4th placed team have got 68 & points. Iv got a feeling that about 65 will do it this year.

Looking at our run in to January, I'm confident we can still be within 6 points of 4th place, which was the main target tbh until the new players came in. If things keep improving the way they are, and now with no mid week distractions, I can't see why we can't be within just three points or less, which would be a fantastic effort by Rodgers in managing our squad.

Plus getting into the Champions League gives us more money, which (theoretically) gives us more financial firepower in the transfer market and makes us a more attractive prospect (if 'ambitious' players can be taken at their word).

Its all to play for. Not because we've been great, but because all of the other rivals have been inconsistent. I aint complaining though!

I don't think we did. Alonso was class, but our midfield as a unit was poor until we signed Momo and then the monster Masch.
