He had a very good game. He is an excellent signing.

A bit overstated to say he is the best in the league. Ashley Cole has been the best Left Back in the world for the last five years and is probably still ahead of Enrique....for now.

Skrtel's another player who gets a fair rap at times but always thought he's a quality player. He has always been very good in a settled defence and especially when played with Agger.

I don't think Skrtel gets the credit he deserves, he's been fantastic so far. He's earned his place in the team, upto others to take it off him.

I agree with you right now, but there's always plausible debate. Before he played for us I doubt anyone (Liverpool fans in particular) realised how good he is.

I don't really care if he's recognised as the best in the league or not, I'm just happy that he's a good player and we have him.

I also don't think that Ashley Cole has been the best in the world for the last 5 years, but people are entitled to think that (and god forbid, debate it) if they choose to.

Skrtel and Reina - MOM

Brilliant result. Thought Kuyt had blown it at the end. Should have played Luis in, but I get Luis could have laid a few off himself.

Let's just concentrate on the positives.

Kenny and Steve - great substitutions at the right time when we were creaking
The entire defence was excellent, apart from one blip.
Lucas and Adam - their best game in midfield. Adams ball to Johnson was superb.

Luis - tenacity defined. Not his best game but him and Bellamy and Maxi combined brilliantly first half.

Henderson - great cameo. rans his socks off and looks to be an ideal impact sub towards the end of games when others are tiring.

Beating Chelsea at the Bridge is so nice.

I'd offer Chelsea 20m for Torres in January, and give him his confidence back. Seriously.

Very pleased with the win. I felt the change in formation when Henderson came on helped us on our way. When Chelsea equalised, we were under the kosh a little, not pressing and I felt the 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 weren't helping matters. It's obvious er needed to change the system and when Henderson came on we looked more compact but still good going forward.
