    I forgot about Kuyt

Dont know how we would line up without Suarez though, with Him and Lucas out the team, we would lack alot of discipline and creativity. Really hope he doesn't get banned.

I think it is too late for Luis. I cannot see of how he can escape some punishment.

What gets me is the reasoning behind. Apparently Fulham fans were singing "what a waste of money" on his way out the stadium and that was what triggerd that reaction by him..

Aimed at him? How could he understand them though?

If they want to talk about a waste of money they can look at Bryan Ruiz

Horrendous performance by the ref today. Never a sending off. The goal should have stood. I am still stumped as to why Bellamy got the yellow card. I am not sure what Suarez needs to do now to get a foul.

Having said that despite all those we should have won. The frustration in this thread is not of loosing against Fulham. The frustration is because of the dropped points against Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, Stoke City and Fulham. We need a goal scorer so badly. We are crying out for a player or two with some composure in the penalty box.

Carroll, Downing and Henderson are crucial for our season now. At least one of the three should start delivering in terms of goals. Carroll is playing like a crappier version of an off form Dirk Kuyt . Downing is making me pine for some of the illustrious left wingers ( or left attacking midfielders) we had in the past - Ryan Babel, Harry Kewell, Albert Riera. They are obviously better players than what they have shown now.

Positives - We are trying to play good attacking football. With a composed finisher we would be fighting with the Manc clubs.

I made the gif of Dempsey getting into Bellamy's face that imo should have been red card for Dempsey as there was an intent there on his part to retaliate.

If it were called, that could've completely changed the game outcome in our favor..

If Bellamy had theatrically rolled over that was a red.

                Aye.

He only needed to hit the ground and it would've been automatic red.

My 2 cents on the game:

I can only remember Carroll winning one bloody header the whole game in general play. I can't believe how much Hangeland dominated him in the air, it wasn't even a contest.

Also, every time Carroll or Suarez got the ball the CB's just ran like crazy straight into the back of our strikers. I don't understand why they didn't just recieve the ball to feet from the cm's, drop it straight back to the centre mid while the Fulham centre backs rushed out, with the other strikers coming in behind.

It was clear Henderson wanted to do it at times but it seemed like in actual pass and move football he was a cut above basically our whole team. On this note I really enjoyed watching him play, he is going to be a special player as long as he plays in a team who want to play pass and move.

As stated a plenty of times before, the midfield was very open for extended periods and this can probably be blamed not only on Lucas being out, but on the fact that at times it seemed like the 3 in the middle were not sure where they were supposed to be.

There were times especially early on when Henderson and Adam were caught right next to each other/getting in each others way. That is something that will change and it seems like it WILL have to with Spearing, Lucas and Stevie out.

That brings me onto our CM's for the next PL game. I assume it will have to be Henderson and Adam with maybe Maxi or even Shelvey coming in. That is even more of a worry if we struggled with Spearing in before he was sent.

hangeland is an absolute beast in the air. i feel sorry for him his big move never came really, he's too good for fulham, but it's too late now.

anyways, even on his best form, carroll wouldn't have had an easy ride in the air today.

Time will tell but there are areas he can improve imo like defensive tackling (to some extend), heading the ball, crossing, shooting but he is lacking imo the mental toughness and the ability to take a man on the run and dribble with the ball and that is the aspect of the game that definitely makes him less dangerous and predictable (as everyone knows that he'll pass) and that makes him one dimensional..

                        True,

but you see confrontations like that nearly every weekend, with yellows being handed out, unless there is some over-reaction from a player.

Nothing there to get majorly worked up about IMO.

Another reason why the ref was so ****e, That should of been a red, the fact Bellamy didn't do nothing there while Dempsey was up in his face and wouldn't stop even though Bellamy was trying to move away. cunt

                              Agree

Not that it would have affected the final result but why was Bellamy shown the yellow there

If the FA are going to look at the Suarez incident, the club should ask them to look at that Dempsey video. Disgraceful that he can get away with that.

Can we appeal the Bellamy yellow? He should have been given a prize for not rising to the bait, not a ****ing yellow. Comical, comedy refereeing. Comical. Hope we watches the highlights because he should be embarrassed about some of those decisions...
