Downing has been involved alot this half, he's done some good stuff but his final ball has let him down.

He could have done more though, Ryan Taylor is really poor.

Downing's been in good positions, i wouldnt cut him. And Henderson gives the midfield balance.

Craig he has been non existent mate sure i could stand in the middle of the pitch and do nothing too , Downing has got in good positions, Taylor is struggling but delivery needs to be so much better. Johnson & Enrique are far better wingers than Downing IMO.

Spearing superb thus far for me, and thank god for Bellamy!!

Without meaning to have a go, it's comments like that which make you come across as only having a very simple understanding of the game.

As for Downing, he's able to skin the fullback easily. Maxi doesnt have the pace, so wouldnt do that.

Depressing half once again. Midfield doesn't exist. Only danger came from Agger's runs.

Carroll is so frustrating to watch. His first touch/pass is terrible. He's nowhere in the box.

He stands around the box waiting for the pass and then when he gets the ball he either mi****s the pass or loses the possession as he cannot shield the ball.

We need 2 subs. Gerrard for Adam and Kuyt/Maxi for Carroll.
