I really like Spearing, i do get scared everytime he goes in for a tackle though

He's a simple player, quite like Lucas really and he seems to do the simple things well. Passing is his strongest point but he could improve on positional sense and his tackling at times. He looks like a guy who is determined to do the best he can possibly do though and I don't see any reason why he can't be a backup option for us. The only trouble with that is he may want more regular first team football and seek it somewhere else. Could see that happening in the future.

Commentators pissed me off the other night every time he went for a tackle. 'Did he not learn his lesson last time', 'he needs to be careful there' etc. Not one of them was a foul, including the red card.
