Once Gerrard was on the pitch we looked a completely different team, much more confidence and belief. Great to see, and good to be comfortable going into the last 10 mins for once.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      It's a worrying trend.

Hes a ****ing atrocious ref (look at that & Fulham for examples)

He isn't any worse than any other ref in the PL and that is the problem. They are all very very average and they will continue to be that as long as the FA protect them all the way.

When referees are allowed to make big mistakes without punishment then they won't care if they make mistakes.

If the mistakes would cost them a place in the PL then they would care.

Punish the referees more often and force them to explain their decisions after the games.

He is unhappy with the free kick on Agger that led to our second goal.

I’m sorry but he is Arn

His decision making in the Fulham game was ****ing shocking

I said this after 10 minutes of the game

He barely got one decision right in that whole game

Even today he let things go he shouldn’t and then the Cabaye incident how he can judge Jays Fulham tackle a sending off and Cabayes not, good god

Hes an appalling ref and thats saying something because the rest if them are no great shakes either

I'm unhappy that Cabaye was not even booked for that tackle

The ref was a joke (as he usually is)

That was unbelievable no call by him.

He was standing 3 feet away looking at Cabaye's challenge and did absolutely nothing..

Terrible and he made few more.

Worst thing was the ref was ideally placed and had his eyes on the Cabaye incident. The ref knew Spearing had been caught thus blew the whistle for immediate attention....but not a freekick (just a bounce in). WTF!!

Honestly, if they're getting paid 60k a year and I don't have to do lower league, or park, games then I want to be a ref. Its p*ss easy.

The Cabaye tackle was an absolute cowards tackle

You could see his change in stride to enable him to jump in and do Jay

At least when Jay got sent off he went trying to win the ball / fully committed and didnt intentionally go to do Dembele (unlike Cabaye today)

Thats the problem with refs they have NEVER played the game at any sort of competitive level

If they had they would know clearly the difference between intent and being committed
