Gerrard to the rescue once again, composure, game intelligence and class that is seriously lacking in our squad. The guy is on a different level

A different team with him in the side. Bellamy,Spearing,Skrtel,Enrique & Johnson were outstanding, simply outstanding. Spearing cleaning house was a nice relief, gives other license to get forward bit more.

Would have loved to see Carroll score, IMO himself,Adam,Hendo & Downing bar some good approach play in first half were below par. Agger was good but got caught out twice quite badly.

That delivery from Gerrard was incredible, several players need to take a leaf out of his book and show some composure and pick out the pass, instead of head down job.

Great result, great last half hour, captain fantastic is back lets hope he can stay fit & god forbid we might actually see him and Suarez for a few games

He's turned it around really nicely. Probably having Agger alongside him calms him down a bit rather than having Carra moan at him every single minute

His passing and crossing was from the other world.

I hope other players elevate their game after this inspiring performance.

He literally looks like a different player, it's incredible. Not 'looks' like, as in his appearance But the way he plays is just a different player completely, solid, composed, no mistakes, always switched on. Superb.
