We sat back to much in the first half, and relied on counters that where not really that effective. We are to slow to get forward, and not good enough at holding the ball.

Defence have been find (bar Enrique) and it's really midfield that needs to raise it's game. Hendersson and Maxi have given away a lot of balls in the first half. Carragher have done excellent defensively but not really a player we can utilize in any way going forward and it's hampering our possiblities in CM.

hard to see how carroll is going to get a chance to have a few cracks at goal, he seems to be largely isolated alot of the time he recieves the ball, and when he does recieve it, its always to chest or head height.

We've been horrible to watch. Go one up and then park the bus - at home too - with just aimless hoofs upfield as n outlet. Get Carragher off, bring on someone with even a hint of attacking ability and let's keep hold if the ball. At the moment we appear to have a team if Carraghers.
