We sat back to much in the first half, and relied on counters that where not really that effective. We are to slow to get forward, and not good enough at holding the ball.

Defence have been find (bar Enrique) and it's really midfield that needs to raise it's game. Hendersson and Maxi have given away a lot of balls in the first half. Carragher have done excellent defensively but not really a player we can utilize in any way going forward and it's hampering our possiblities in CM.

We need to start pressuring them higher up the pitch, allowing Scholes, Giggs and Carrick to knock the ball around under no pressure will lead to them picking us off again
