                          Finally someone telling the truth, can't believe some of the negative ****e been posted here. Today was a great day, absolutley made up for Kenny and the lads well deserved and another cracking final Liverpool have been a part off.

                            I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                              We were terrible in the 2005 Champions League final for stretches, and really kinda spawned it. We weren't great against West Ham in the 2006 FA final and kinda spawned it too. We were also quite bad against Brum back in 2001 and had to beat them on penalties. In all honesty we played better today than we did in any of those games, we just had the same issue we have all season, not being able to finish or truly unlock a stubborn defence.

                              Several players had pretty bad games, and we definitely have work to do this summer in attacking areas of the pitch, but we won a cup, that's all that matters.
