I hope Ibe stays at Derby as I think it would be a step back in his development to come back and be a bit part player which is what he would be. Given the choices we have in the positions he plays, he would be lucky to get some minutes. He is doing well for Derby and will only improve and come back to us better for the experience, and still only 19 years old!

Yes, he should definitely stay there and help them to promotion. The experience he's getting there is absolutely priceless IMO.

Best place for him without doubt, hopefully they get up and they take him for another year.

Liverpool midfielder Jordon Ibe is set to return to Anfield after being recalled from his loan spell at Derby County.

The 19-year-old talent has already played 24 times for the Rams this season, 20 of which in their Championship campaign, helping them to second in the table.

And it appears he will not be shipped out elsewhere, with Liverpool keen on keeping the youngster at Anfield for the time-being.

The Reds have struggled through the first half of the Premier League season, currently sitting in eighth, behind West Ham.

Ibe joined Liverpool from Wycombe in 2012, but has only made two Premier League appearances for Brendan Rodgers' side.

He was first loaned out to Birmingham, before heading to the iPro Stadium this season.

Interesting. Probably to provide WB cover if Enriqe goes.

              Recalling Ibe makes perfect sense.
He's played half a season so would have progressed significantly, pretty sure McLaren gave an interview recently where he said Ibe's workrate and game understanding had come on loads.

For the time being we're in 4 competitions and (hopefully) we'll be playing Thursday/Sunday for the rest of the season so Ibe being recalled means more rest at different times for Sterling/Markovic/Coutinho/Lallana/Sturridge/Moreno

Coming back after the game v Forest at the weekend.

Edit - Scrap that been recalled straight away.

Just checked with Ibe, he's got 5 goals in 20 games in the Championship, that's seriously good going as they won't all be starts or full games.

Also, for those commenting about him needing more experience he's played more matches than Flanagan has.

13 starts and 7 sub appearances. You can actually check individual matches for when he came on or went off as a sub if you really want

Teixeira can't get a game for Brighton anymore, is he injured?

Dunn scored a pen for Cheltenham yesterday.

Described as the best player on the pitch full of work rate and energy.

From a few Brighton fans I know they said Sami used him all the time to his detriment and wouldn't drop him which also contributed to his exit from the club.
I've not checked the facts as to this though....

Not sure about that. He pulled him after 29 minutes against Boro, then he barely in 5 of the next 9, before Sami left. He then played the next 2 after Sami left, both wins, then was dropped for the last 2 games.

:/ have a bad feeling about his future here.

                              Interview with Ilori:

EDIT: Having just read it, I can tell you it's a **** interview.
