Oh Perky Well he's been injured for most of the season! I think he was doing pretty well prior to that injury all things considered. Let's see how he finishes the season there before judging him.

I'm worried he's injury prone though. Hamstring injuries for players reliant on pace are always a bad sign.

Half season rankings of 9 players we currently have out on loan. I'm presuming that's all the players we have out on loan but I've no real idea!

            http://www.empireofthekop.com/anfiel...ng-top-spot/9/

            In ranking order:

            1. Jordon Ibe
            2. Iago Aspas
            3. Andre Wisdom
            4. Divock Origi
            5. Joao Carlos Teixeira
            6. Luis Alberto
            7. Sebastian Coates
            8. Tiago Ilori
            9. Rafa Paez

After reading this it looks like only the top 3 are doing well so far

Randomly saw some rather varied opinions on how Wisdom is doing earlier...

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
              Mine angry and defrauded young?

Very split opinions. Cheers for the link.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                      No different from here really.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Ibe is getting the same mixed reviews on Derby forums. They don't think he's ready for a recall back to Pool as he runs down blind alleys, yet he's important to Derby in most games because he scares defenders.

                        Which is it?

West Brom have a reasonably decent defensive record, I know because of FF , so surely Wisdom is part of the reason they are decent at the back, no?

These players will also need a period of reflection and assessment in the summer, which in turn, will help them improve. The experience they're getting is invaluable. As long as there are signs of quality, then the other issues can be dealt with.

Haha, I had to stop reading after this gem...

Alright lads. I can give an insight on wisdom having had a lfc season ticket an watched several youth matches.

When he was at liverpool he was being hailed as the next glen johnson. However he is not direct enough to be an attacking/shooting full back. Hes weak in the air but strong in the tackle. Today he seemed awkward/uncomfortable in possesion and that has always been the case.
I'm guessing the WB supporters are expecting a modern day FB who is great going forward. Obviously Andre isn't that, he's a CB playing out of position, but a good defender.

Said it before, but would have liked to see him here playing on the right of the back 3, as it would have suited him well. He was quite vocal in the youth squads, so maybe could have helped with the organisational side of things once settled.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I actually just looked on a Derby forum. Virtually every single poster picked him in their starting 11 for their next game.

He's still so young so it's to be expected he's not the finished article yet, but overall I'd say his loan has gone really, really well.

When bored I've been going to their weekly match threads, usually about 20-30 pages long, and searching on Ibe on every page (can't be bothered to read the rest).

Suffice it to say the fans don't believe the trial has gone really, really well but he has improved his decision making, strength and above all confidence. Still too rough for Liverpool is the general consensus.

And then you see the high scores he gets in ratings and its all a bit confusing. Maybe they're worried they'll lose him if they big him up too much.

Edit: FWIW from what I've seen of him I think he's ready to come back and play a few cup/europa games for us now.
