I think some supporters were against his signing from the start, but for me that is a more than usefull first season from Charlie, fit again he should look to improve next season. He should fill a place in our squad look at the teams above us, the strength in depth they have. We need players of Adams quality in the squad to fill in when needed and put pressure on the players in the starting eleven.
    great post

i really thought adam was going to be great. maybe he has been out of position, maybe he would be better with lucas wiping his arse for him.

what i do see is a bloke with little footballing skill. he needs ten touches to control a ball. if another player has the ball he just bundles in to him hoping for a lucky bounce and gives daft fouls away. for his occasional good pass there are another dozen that ping off like a banana.

i would be really pleased if we could recover as much of his fee as possible when we sell him on.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

ESPN only give him 6 assists by the way:

I think it really is one of the stats where you most need to know the definition used. T

Miles better than Downing & Henderson this season and whilst playing out of position. Missed 11 games and has better production rate, and that's with playing in a DM role.

            - 7 million vs 35-40 million (whatever the hell it was)

Not a huge Adam fan but there are far worse than him this season. IMO gets way to much stick when others are more culpable.

I think Henderson hasn't been too bad for a youngish new player. I thought Adam was disappointing, or at least, since my expectations weren't high, not really good enough. Maybe he'll improve next season. He better had.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                Is that a threat?

To be honest i think about 90% of our squad need to improve dramatically next season.

I'm worried about what manager will come in, but i hope that he has a ruthless streak & gets ride of alot of the crap we have. IMO Henderson was a massive disappointment, as was Downing. Andy Carroll & Enrique to a least extent.
