    Manager Poll

Iv been reading all of the forums's and talking to mates etc. and see there is quite a varied opinion amongst our fans regarding the best way forward for LFC.

This poll is no dig at King Kenny by the way, just trying to gauge opinion amongst posters.

I see it now and voted for us to stick with him. I believe that if kenny thinks he can't take us where we want to be, he will walk away. He loves this club as much ,if not more than us. Please please please do not disrespect this man.
The hurt he must feel right now,I pray he doesn't read any of the horrible things said about him.

Your totally right there. Kenny loves and bleeds LFC, just like a ultra passionate fan.

If he felt that the club would stand a better chance of winning things under someone else, he would step aside himself. I hope he turns it around, i really do. My heart says stick with Kenny, but my head says Rafa.

He's done so much not just in a footballing capacity, but guided us through our darkest hour.

It would genuinley hurt him if he read or heard some of the personal insults directed towards him from so-called fans.

Its going to be a very interesting summer for the owners. No matter what decision they make, its going to upset a lot of fans.

I voted stick with Kenny regardless but in all honesty part of me hopes that if he feels it's not happening that he steps aside honourably in the summer. I have no doubt that's what he'll do if he has to.

Who would potentially replace him though? I've changed my mind about Rafa in many ways but maybe a real clean slate would be better. His positive appraisal of Klopp is interesting...

There's only 1 man for the job, Rafa. With a good board and a bit of money, we will be top 4

I think i should have put a 4th option in this poll:

Stick with Kenny until the summer, allowing him to step down and bring in Rafa.

Dont think its possible to do that now is it?

That's already part of the 3rd option.

Otherwise, you might as well have options for Bielsa, Klopp, Pep, Mourinho who all would get similar votes.

Yeah but all those names you mentioned would be covered as option 3 'someone else'. Because of the amount of people that want Rafa back, it seems he needs an option of his own.

Bielsa for example figures high on the list of those who'd like Kenny replaced too along with Rafa.

Discussing individual managers is for a later poll if the decision is taken by FSG to make a change and it becomes abundantly clear that they will do so.

I think one of the mods can change it. I'm sure it's been done with the Carroll poll.

                        Spot on dude

Personally, I never wanted Rafa to leave anyway, ok, he was stuburn with his lineup's at times and made mistakes like every other manager in the PL oh, and bought the odd duffer player but, whilst Rafa was in charge, we only finnished outside the top four once (I think?) and had a good eye for some really talented players ie, Alonso, Torres, Masher etc, and let's not forget that Rafa was'nt affraid to stick his neck on the line against those two f***ing tw@ts who were to almost put our Club deep deep in the ****.

BTW, I'm not in anyway having a dig at our king Kenny because I think he's done a brilliant job for the Club so far and should be given more time but, the only thing i worry about is that Kenny does'nt have the same experience (CH'L) wise to carry us on that bit farther but, I really do hope that kenny can do it.

We should never have got rid of Someone else. He is a man who has won trophies and understands the club, culture and city of Liverpool. Someone else clearly wants the job and feels he has unfinished business. He is a man who got players such as Traore, Cisse, Baros and Riise Champions League winners medals.

Kenny is my football hero, the reason I follow liverpool. He should be moved back to the ambassadorial role he was performing so well. He has righted the ship and won us a cup (maybe 2). His signings have under performed and let him down, he should be allowed to leave with his head held as high as ever. I'd love him to stay and for it to work out, but there are few signs of that and sadly our run in the league since Christmas (and our home form all season) is undefendable.

It is not about getting rid of another manager, about becoming Chelsea or Newcastle. It is about making the right decision.

The decision to sack Rafa, just seemed like a vindictive move by Hicks and Gillett who never liked him, the poor league finish just gave them the excuse to do it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
